A moderately large unit with a footprint of 52' x 17' that takes in 21 foot lengths of tube, indexes individual tubes and then aligns and welds weld-o-lets in place along and around the tube. Every step of the process is automated and a pipe is completed every 2.5 minutes. An operator inputs recipes for the different configurations at a touchscreen control panel, loads the infeed with pipe, and loads the magazine with fittings. From there the machine will run without pause until the list of recipes has been completed. Each recipe holds the position and relative angle for up to 4 fittings along the length of pipe.

The machine can accept pipe ranging in size from 1.25" through 6", and is capable of welding weld-o-let fittings ranging from 1/2" threaded and 3" threaded, and 1/2" grooved to 4" grooved. The magazine has tracks to allow loading of 40 different sizes and types of fittings at any given time.
